Following the initial work on KPIs and targets there is a focus on ensuring those set are correct and deliver the right outcome for the business and become embedded in the culture. This work interlinks heavily with the Performance Management programme.

The main activity within our leadership quadrant is the Performance Management Programme: By the time we undertake the Performance Management we will have shown you how to make improvements in your processes and practices, and so now the focus is on consistent performance management of your people. These are the essential management skills needed to understand and lead your people.

This provides the most rewarding phase for the management team as it brings the whole Operational Excellence programme together and provides greater context and confidence around why front line management is absolutely key to the success of any operation. We challenge the middle managements leadership mindset, questioning the 'Why' and the 'How' which are as important as the 'What, Go, Do'.
